Pool Rules
- Children under 12 must be actively supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
- Maximum 2 children aged 8 or under per responsible adult.
- Please do not swim, or allow your child to swim if you or your child have had sickness or diarrhoea in the last 48 hours.
- To reduce the risk of contamination, the use of swim nappies is mandatory for babies & young children. (available on request)
- Weak or non-swimmers should remain in shallow water and strictly no unaccompanied children under 8 beyond the halfway rope. A supervising adult must be in the water with the child if they are under 8, or out of their depth and cannot swim competently. Please note if our supervisor expresses concern about your child’s swimming ability they will be asked to return to the shallow end. Please respect their decision and ensure that your child follows instructions.
- It is strongly advised that weak or non-swimmers under the age of 8 wear armbands or an appropriate buoyancy aid and are also closely supervised by a responsible adult in the pool.
- Evacuate the pool immediately in the event of a thunderstorm.
- Please use pool toys sensibly. No personal inflatables or fins permitted.
- No glass bottles or containers and no alcohol to be consumed on the premises.
OUR SUPERVISORS ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS. ABUSIVE OR NUISANCE BEHAVIOUR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND MAY RESULT IN EVICTION FROM THE POOL.
PLEASE REPORT ANY OFFENSIVE OR INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR TO THE DUTY SUPERVISOR. THANK YOU FOR ABIDING BY OUR RULES!
