TerraCycle® and Walkers® have partnered to create a free recycling scheme which accepts all crisp packets. Polehampton Swimming Association have joined in. For every 2kg of crisp packaging we receive £2.
Collection points are at our pool, Twyford Youth Club, the Duke of Wellington, HaHoos and Binghams brewery. Since we started collecting crisp packets in 2019, we have raised £80, this equates to 80kg of packaging (approximately 30,000 crisp packets!) we have saved from landfill. Thanks for all of your hard work, please keep collecting empty crisp packets on our behalf. If you are collecting crisp packets at home then it really helps the TerraCycle volunteers if you can fully empty the packets, fold each packet neatly and then place them into a crisp packet, as shown in the photo. |

Polehampton Swimming Association evening pool party on the 13th of July 2019. Over 180 guests enjoyed a beautiful summer's evening swim, where we raised £1,000 for our refurbishment. Thank you to all our members, volunteers and donations to help us kick start our fundraising this year.
